This sweet girl is house-trained and has a solid start on her basic obedience, but she’ll need continued support with positive reinforcement, confidence building, and gentle socialization to help her come out of her shell. 🌱 Autumn can be easily frightened, so she’s not suited to homes with young children. However, with proper supervision and guidance, she may be able to live with a calm, dog-savvy cat. 🐱

Autumn is good with other dogs but would do best with a quiet, respectful companion who understands her need for space and time. Her ideal canine friend would be one that helps her feel safe and secure, rather than overwhelmed. 🐶💕

With her beautiful long coat, Autumn will require regular grooming to stay healthy and comfortable. When she first arrived, she had significant matting and needed a portion of her fur shaved – so ongoing upkeep is a must to keep her feeling her best. ✂️🛁

Adoption Commitment

The Shepparton Animal Shelter encourages new owners of adopted animals to consider their lifestyle and commitment carefully before adoption. We wish to see all adopted animals find their forever homes. However we understand that sometimes, an adoption does not work out. If you are no longer able to care for your adopted animal, for any reason, please contact the Shepparton Animal Shelter.

Adoption Guarantee

If a dog, puppy, cat or kitten is not acceptable to a purchaser because of health, physical or other reasons (excluding accidents), which is supported by a statement from a Veterinary practitioner, within seven days of purchase, the Animal Shelter will accept the animal back and refund the purchase price of the animal.

If a dog, puppy, cat or kitten is returned within three days for any other reason, the Animal Shelter will refund 75% of the purchase price or offer a replacement animal with the same guarantee.

If a dog, puppy, cat or kitten dies or is euthanased as a result of a disease that is traceable to the point of sale, the Animal Shelter will refund the purchase price or offer a replacement animal with the same guarantee.
