The Greater Shepparton City Council Animal Shelter currently has cats and kittens looking for loving homes.
Residents have the opportunity to visit the Animal Shelter to learn about the process and benefits of adopting a shelter animal, as well as meeting the cats and kittens looking for a new forever home.
Greater Shepparton City Council Manager Citizens Services, Laurienne Winbanks said it was important to ensure that the animal’s new home will be forever.
“Animal Shelter staff focus on matching the right animal with the right home,” she said.
“Experienced staff are available to offer assistance and guidance to anyone interested in adopting a shelter pet. Adopting an animal from the Shepparton Animal Shelter is a rewarding experience that will last a lifetime.”
The price to adopt a cat or kitten is $100. All animals that are adopted from the Shepparton Animal Shelter are vet checked, vaccinated, microchipped and de-sexed.
Animals available for adoption can be viewed by visiting the Shepparton Animal Shelter at 125 Wanganui Road, Shepparton between 8:30am- 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
