To complete the intersection works at Graham Street, the intersection will be closed to traffic from Friday, 15 September 2017 to Wednesday, 20 September 2017.
Traffic will be detoured via Fitzgerald Street and Nightingale Way for the 6 days. Only north bound traffic will be allowed to flow through the intersection during this closure.
Verney Road from Balaclava Road to Graham Street will still be closed to south bound traffic. The proposed detour for smaller vehicles will be through Bourchier Street while large vehicles will flow via Goulburn Valley Highway.
The closure will cause a temporary inconvenience in the area and we ask for the community’s compliance with all the traffic management signage.
The contract for the reconstruction of Verney Road – Stage 3 (Graham Street to Elm Terrace) has been progressing well since March 2017.
The reconstruction works are programmed to be completed by the end of September 2017
Project updates and the current traffic management plan will be available on Council’s website, www.greatershepparton.com.au
For further information please contact Saleem Shaikh, Project Engineer - Project Management Office on 5832 9814.
