Greater Shepparton City Council wishes to thank users of the Shepparton Sports Precinct for their patience and cooperation in the way they are parking at the facility.
Greater Shepparton City Council Acting Director Infrastructure, Michael Freeman said line marking has now been completed in the carparks and roadways.
The East/West road way and associated car parking facilities at the southern area of the precinct are all now available. "We encourage people to use the available spaces along the East/West boulevard," said Mr Freeman. “There are over 900 car spaces available in the area with linking footpaths and pedestrian crossings.”

Mr Freeman would like to remind residents to be aware that the area is a 40k/m zone and that car parks are one way only.
“The parking areas have been designed and constructed with maximum safety of all users in mind and feature connecting footpaths and pedestrian crossings. If people park illegally in roundabouts, emergency vehicle parking spaces, disabled car spaces and in no standing areas, there is a major safety risk for children and families walking on the roads instead of the footpaths,” he said.
“We have also worked with the soccer club on the game schedules which has resulted in less congestion and increased functionality.”
Access to enter and exit the road way and car parking facilities is via Packham Street or Numurkah Road.
