Greater Shepparton City Council wishes to advise the community that Council will be closed from 3.00pm Friday 22 December 2017 and will reopen at 8.15am Tuesday 2 January 2018 for the holiday period.
For emergencies in this time, please phone (03) 5832 9700 and follow the prompts.
Riverlinks
The Riverlinks Box Office will be closed from 3.00pm Friday 22 December 2017 and will reopen at 10.00am Tuesday 2 January 2018.
Tickets to shows can still be purchased online during this time via the Riverlinks website.
Shepparton Art Museum
SAM will be closed on Christmas Day (Monday 25 December 2017) and New Year’s Day (Monday 1 January 2018). Other days are as follows:
Greater Shepparton Visitor Centre
The Visitor Centre is open every day from 9.00am to 5.00pm excluding Christmas Day (Monday 25 December 2017).
Aquamoves
Aquamoves will be closed on Christmas Day (Monday 25 December 2017). All other days are as follows:
Outdoor pools – Merrigum, Mooroopna, Tatura
The Mooroopna and Tatura outdoor pools will be closed on Christmas Day.
On Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, New Year’s Day, Boxing Day and the Boxing Day holiday the pools will be open from 12.00pm to 5.00pm each day.
The Merrigum Pool will be closed Christmas Day.
On Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, the Boxing Day Holiday, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, the pool will be open from 1.00pm and 5.00pm.

Shepparton Sports Stadium
The Shepparton Sports Stadium will be closed from 3.00pm Friday 22 December 2017 and re-open at 8.30am on Tuesday 2 January 2018.
SPC KidsTown
The SPC KidsTown Playground is open for all school holidays from dawn to dusk. The KidsTown staffed operations, Cafe and the Miniature Train will be closed on 25 and 26 December 2017 (Christmas Day and Boxing Day).
Summer School Holiday operational hours: The Miniature Train will operate from 11.00am to 3.00pm and the Cafe will open from 10.00am to 4.00pm each day.

Activities in the Park
The Activities in the Park program will take a break from Thursday 21 December 2017 and resume on Sunday 7 January 2018.
Waste Services
No collections will occur on Monday 25 December 2017 or Monday 1 January 2018. During these two weeks, collections will run from Tuesday to Saturday. Your bin will be emptied the day after normal collection, so if your bin is normally emptied on a Monday, it will be emptied on Tuesday, if it is normally emptied on Tuesday it will be emptied on Wednesday and so on. Regular kerbside collection will resume on Monday 8 January 2018. If you have any queries please contact Customer Service on 03) 5832 9700.

Cosgrove Landfill
Animal Management
The Shepparton Animal Shelter will close at midday on Friday 22 December 2017 and re-open at 9.00am Tuesday 2 January 2018.
Shelter staff will continue to care for all animals at the Shelter during this period.

Childcare/Kinder/Family Day Care
Our Long Day Care services will be closed to families from Friday 22 December 2017 and will re-open Monday 8 January 2018.
Kindergartens will close from Tuesday 19 December 2017 and re-open from Monday 29 January 2018. Please contact individual services for session close and start dates.
Family Day Care will be closed from Friday 22 December 2017 and will reopen on Tuesday 2 January 2018.

Greater Shepparton Business Centre
Greater Shepparton Business Centre will be closed from 3.00pm Friday 22 December 2017 and will reopen at 8.15am Tuesday 2 January 2018.
Maternal and Child Health Service
All centres will be closed Friday 22 December 2017. Open sessions will not be running over this period. During all other times, a reduced service to cater for new babies will be available at:

Aged Services (Meals on Wheels, Home Care, Personal Care, Social Connections)
Home Care
Services are NOT available on public holidays. If you have any concerns with regards to Home Care over the Christmas period, please contact the Service Provision Team on 03 5832 5227.

Personal Care (showering)
Will be provided as normal, unless you cancel your service. Please contact the Service Provision Team on 03 5832 5227 if you wish to discuss your service.
Personal Care (shopping)
Where it falls on a public holiday will be transferred to another day.
Respite Care
On public holidays can be provided with the Quality Services Coordinator’s approval. If you have any concerns with regards to respite on a public holiday, please contact the Service Provision Team on 03 5832 5227.
Meals on Wheels
Will continue as usual throughout Christmas for existing clients. Please call 03 5832 9808 to advise of any cancellations.
