VicRoads would like to advise local drivers that the Doyles Road/ Midland Highway dual lane roundabout Upgrade has been completed.
The new roundabout was officially opened this morning by Member for Murray, Damian Drum, MP.
VicRoads would like to thank the community for the patience while the works have been in progress and various detours in place over the past six months. The dual-lane design will improve safety of the intersection, assist the movement of freight around the Shepparton industrial area, ease congestion and reduce delays for all road users travelling through the area.
All road users are advised to continue taking extra caution when travelling through the new roundabout and to observe the new line markings that are now in place:
We have attached a diagram to the bottom of this email showing how the new roundabout will operate. Please share this information with family or staff members in order to keep them up-to-date with these changes.
If anyone has any project specific questions they would like answered please feel free to reply to email VicRoads directly via ner.doymidroundabout@roads.vic.gov.au
