Greater Shepparton City Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitable individuals, local businesses, sports clubs or community organisations to facilitate activities that provide an opportunity for Greater Shepparton residents to be physically active and engaged in healthy lifestyle behaviours.
Planning has commenced for the 2017/18 Activities in the Park program, with the aim of providing a variety of activities and new activities from the previous program.
There is an opportunity to include sports come and try sessions, health education seminars and activities and arts based physical activity that lead to positive health outcomes.
Greater Shepparton City Council Acting Director Community Tony Tranter said Council is seeking expressions of interest from individuals, local businesses, sports clubs or community organisations passionate about getting our community healthy and active by facilitating an activity as part of the overall program.
“If you are interested in being part of this award winning community program, then I encourage you to submit your expression of interest,” Mr Tranter said. Activities in the Park provides free and low cost activities in parks and open space across Greater Shepparton.

The deadline to submit expression of interest is Friday 2 June 2017.
