This Saturday will see Greater Shepparton’s newest event come to life at the Victoria Park Lake. Goulburn Vibes is an outdoor live music event which will showcase local performers in an intimate setting among the rustic bushlands of the region.
Taking to the stage will be local artists, Tenielle McKenzie, Charlie McCosh, Jessica Lorraine and El Moth.
Greater Shepparton City Council Mayor Councillor Kim O’Keeffe said Goulburn Vibes was a great setting to connect with our local talent.
“We have a lot of talented individuals in our region and Goulburn Vibes is another opportunity for artists to be seen and heard,” Cr O’Keeffe said.
“It will be an amazing afternoon relaxing by the lake and the river, listening to great local music.”
The free event will also include children activities with a special workshop by Miss Sparkles from Hoop Sparx who will be there to show the kids a new trick or two with a hula hoop and adults are more than welcome to join in on the fun.
Council’s Manager Economic Development Anthony Nicolaci said Goulburn Vibes was a new cultural event for the entire community to enjoy.
“Council is committed to supporting events dedicated to the local arts, music, food and culture of the region and Goulburn Vibes is a perfect event to showcase our region for locals and visitors to enjoy,” Mr Nicolaci said.
The entire family will be able to enjoy a treat from local vendors Park Brew Coffee Co, La Porchetta Shepparton, Top Notch Poffertjes, Snappa’s Mobile Grill and Catering and Mr Sheppy. Bubbles and Wort will also be running a boutique bar for adults only.
Remember to bring a deck chair and rug to sit on, outside food is allowed if attendees would like to bring their own picnic, strictly no BYO.
