Shepparton based business Foott Waste Solutions have received Green Star compliance as a Waste Contractor and Waste Processing Facility.
Foott Waste Solutions are a contractor on the new SAM site and is responsible for the disposal of all waste from the site including metal and timber.
Many of the materials are recycled or processed so they can be used again, minimising the amount of material going to landfill.
This is a unique operation in regional Victoria and Foott Waste are leading the way for the waste industry.
Watch as Operations Manager, Zane Foott explains the process and why the SAM project is good for their business, regional contractors and Greater Shepparton.
