The construction of the East/West Linking Boulevard roadway at the Shepparton Sports Precinct will continue to limit vehicle access to the hockey and soccer facilities.
The Boulevard is the main roadway linking the Numurkah Road entrance with Packham Street. The works also include the construction of the Brauman/Packham Street roundabout.
Mawson Constructions have set up their site compound with a site container and site fencing being placed on site, as shown in the aerial photo below.

Please note that Stage 1A requires Mawsons to close off parking north of the tennis courts which are generally utilised by both soccer and hockey participants. These closures will remain until the start of November however pedestrian and emergency vehicles access will remain at all times. Clubs wishing to gain vehicle access during this time need to contact Council’s Project Manager. Access will depend on site conditions.
The north/south internal roadway is currently closed (marked in blue) from the middle of the northern tennis court until the entry to Murray Slee pavilion. To alleviate the closure of car parks, entry can be gained to the southern tennis car park via the internal Brauman Street entry (marked in red).
Council understands that these works are going to be very disruptive to stakeholders and apologise for the short notice regarding the closure of the car parking facilities. Unfortunately these works are paramount to the overall delivery of the Greater Shepparton Regional Sports Precinct project.
