VicRoads wish to advise The Shepparton Alternative Route – Doyles Road – will have traffic restrictions in place Thursday and Friday (December 8-9) while temporary repair works are carried out on a failed section of road pavement, weather permitting.
Stablisation materials will be used on a 760 square metre section of the road. The works will take place between Channel Road and the Broken River Bridge.
While the works take place there will be a lane closure and speed restriction of 40km/h in place. Some minor delays are expected during the day and we ask that you plan your trip accordingly.
VicRoads thanks the local community for their patience while these important works are being done.
Please observe the changed traffic conditions including obeying the detours and changed traffic conditions for your own safety, the safety of other road users and the safety of our workers.
The repair works are being carried out by the North Eastern Maintenance Alliance, a partnership between VicRoads and Downer.
PLEASE NOTE: Any road that has a letter and number designation (M, A, B or C) is an arterial road that is managed and maintained by VicRoads, not Greater Shepparton City Council.
There will be regular signs along these roads with the road number noted on them.
