Greater Shepparton City Council wishes to advise the community of two short term playground closures, including both Murchison Public Park and Ferrari Park Mooroopna in order to facilitate works.
Murchison Public Park will be closed Monday 26 June to Wednesday 28 June and again on Monday 17 July for two days.
Ferrari Park will be closed Wednesday 28 June to Friday 30 June and again Wednesday 19 July for two days.
Both parks will reopen for school holidays from Monday 3 July to Friday 14 July.
The construction schedule takes into account school holidays and has been organised around this to allow both playground to remain open. Works will be undertaken the week before and the week after the school holidays.
Greater Shepparton City Council’s Acting Director Michael Freeman apologises for any inconvenience to users, noting that the closures are necessary in order to facilitate the works and installation of the shade structures.
