GV Libraries are proud to be supporting and promoting National Simultaneous Story Time in 2017. Mooroopna, Shepparton, Tatura, Nagambie, Nathalia and Numurkah Libraries will each be hosting a National Simultaneous Story Time session at 11.00am on Wednesday 24th May.
Held annually as part of Library and Information Week, National Simultaneous Storytime is a campaign that aims to encourage more young Australians to read and enjoy books.

Every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read at the same time on the same day in libraries, schools, pre-schools, childcare centres, family homes, bookshops and many other places around the country.
Last year more than 520,000 children at over 3500 locations around Australia took part in reading ‘I Got this Hat’ by Jol & Kate Temple.
This year children will enjoy the wonderful story of ‘The Cow Tripped Over the Moon’ by Tony Wilson & Laura Wood.
Come along to one of our library sessions to share the story and a craft activity.
