Greater Shepparton City Council will host a bat night next Wednesday 8 April from 5.00-7.00pm.
Bat expert Robert Bender will teach residents about our local bats in Shepparton. Mr Bender will discuss where they live, what they eat and how they find their way around in the dark.
Following the bat presentation at the Council Boardroom, Mr Bender will walk participants along the shared path on the Goulburn River, spotting bats with bat-spotlights and bat-locaters.
When: Wednesday 8 April
Where: Greater Shepparton City Council Boardroom, 90 Welsford Street, Shepparton
Time: 5.00pm – 7.00pm
Cost: FREE
Clothing: Please ensure you wear sturdy shoes
