Workers in Greater Shepparton are encouraged to enjoy a Performance in the Park during their lunch break on Wednesday 5 February.
The performance is presented by Riverside Ramblers ‘Roaring 20's and all that Jazz' Musical Journey through the era of Art Deco, Flappers, Charleston, Fabulous Automobiles, and, of course, Dixieland Jazz. The decade that saw great advancement in electricity, radio, motion pictures, air travel, flamboyant fashion and prohibition.
Council's Activities in the Park Coordinator Carmen Nicholson said Performance in the Park is part of Council's Activities in the Park program.
"This is a fantastic opportunity for workers to enjoy their lunch in the fresh air rather than eat at their desks," Ms Nicholson said.
