This Sunday, locals and visitors are encouraged to enjoy the local flavour on show at this year's Murchison Tomato Festa.
The Festa will be in the main street of Murchison incorporating the existing stores and the beautiful riverbank gardens, Sunday 6th March 2016 11 am – 4 pm.
Share our table, meet the makers, be entertained and make new friends while indulging in the very best of what we have grown for you this season.
Picture lush tomato and basil in planter boxes along the street with tables covered in red and white checked tables clothes. Marquees housing a great variety of local produce, luxurious eats and drinks to share and enjoy. There will also be live music and demonstrations and hands on tomato activities for all ages.

Eats: Traditional pizza, Nonna’s pasta and tomato sugo, gourmet BBQ, paella, Cheese plates, Heirloom Tomato Bruschetta, decadent sweet treats, fresh fruit & Home made gelati.
Drinks: Longleat Wines, Black Bog Brewery Beer, Faire Ferments Apple& Pear Cider. Locally roasted coffee, Crank Coffee, Smoothies.
Meet the maker: Hand Made cordials & dressing, local olive oil, preserved olives. Eating and preserving tomatoes for sale, crusty bread, Burramurra walnuts, Wahrina pistachios, homemade chutneys & baked goods & winery, gift lines, gorgeous dresses, hand made soaps and candles. Preserving equipment also for sale.

Come; Celebrate the annual harvest of the vine-ripened treasures of the Goulburn Valley.
The Murchison Tomato Festa is a regional event of the 2016 Melbourne Food and Wine Festival and part of the Shepparton Festival. The Murchison Tomato Festa is a collaborative event between the local Murchison Community, The Northern Victorian Fresh Tomato Industry Development Committee and Greater Shepparton City Council. With sponsorship from The Victorian Government, Boomaroo, South Pacific seeds, GAME traffic, Shepparton News and Netafim.
