ORIGINAL POST 12/10/16
Local motorists are advised that Watt Road, the back road from Shepparton to Mooroopna, is to remain closed due to damage from flood waters.
Council staff have inspected the road there is significant flood damage to a 20 metre section of road with a drop of 500mm from the edge of the road in some places. There is also water still over the road in several places. The road will remain closed until repairs can be carried out.
Drivers are asked not to put themselves, their families or others at risk by attempting to drive on the road. Whilst the road may look safe to drive on the damage underneath the road caused by flood waters makes it unsafe and unstable.

PLEASE NOTE: The difference between a Council managed road and a VicRoads managed road
Any road that has a letter and number designation (M, A, B or C) is an arterial road that is managed and maintained by VicRoads, not Greater Shepparton City Council.
There will be regular signs along these roads with the road number noted on them.
On the above map, it shows:
If any of these roads are in need of repair, please forward the details directly to VicRoads via: https://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/traffic-and-road-use/report-a-road-issue?utm_source=homepage&utm_medium=hero&utm_campaign=Report .
