Greater Shepparton City Council is planning to construct asphalt pavement on Welsford Street, with Stage 4 of the Welsford Street Redevelopment progressing as per the schedule.
The Welsford Street Off-Street Carpark (opposite the Council offices) will close from Wednesday 15 February until Tuesday 7 March 2023.
Customers will be unable to park their vehicles in the carpark or enter businesses through the rear entry from the Welsford Street carpark during this time. Access to the businesses will be maintained via Wyndham Street.
Completion of the Stage 4 works is anticipated in March 2023. The works are designed to improve traffic flow through the intersection and will result in safer traffic movement.
Council would like to thank everyone for their patience and cooperation.
