Council is inviting residents to get outdoors and stay active this Autumn with the Activities in the Park program running throughout the municipality.
In Summary
Council’s Activities in the Park Autumn program will deliver more than 60 activities across the municipality, encouraging residents to get outdoors, stay active and connect with their community.
The program includes a mix of fitness sessions, sport clinics, creative workshops and family-friendly events for people of all ages throughout the Autumn season.
A key initiative is the Boot Swap, supporting local families ahead of the winter sports season by redistributing pre-loved soccer, AFL and rugby boots to children and young people.
Boot donations are being collected until Thursday 30 April 2026, with a free Boot Swap event to be held on Saturday 2 May 2026 at the Shepparton Sports Precinct Small Pavilion.
This season’s program features more than 60 activities designed to get people outdoors, active and connected during the Autumn season. A key feature of this season’s program is the Boot Swap initiative, delivered in collaboration with Kick It Forward and Shepparton Junior Soccer Association. The initiative aims to support local families ahead of the Winter sports season by redistributing preloved football boots to children and young people across Greater Shepparton.
Council is collecting soccer, AFL and rugby boots in good wearable condition. Donations can be dropped off at Shepparton Sports Stadium or Aquamoves between 10am and 4pm until Thursday 30 April 2026.
The initiative will culminate in a free community Boot Swap event where families can donate, swap or collect a pair of boots.
