Greater Shepparton City Council is inviting community members and visitors to save the date and get ready for two vibrant days of shopping, entertainment and family fun at the Summer City Market on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 February 2026.
In Summary
The event will take over the Maude Street precinct in Shepparton’s CBD, running on Friday 27 from 9am to 5pm and Saturday 28 from 9am to 2pm. Featuring special offers from local traders, market stalls, live music, great food and activities for kids; the Summer City Market is the perfect way to celebrate summer in the heart of the city.
Mayor, Councillor Shane Sali, encouraged community members to attend and shop local.
Yanha Gurtji Ward Councillor, Fern Summer, highlighted the importance of supporting local businesses.
Council’s Place Manager, Bonnie McIntosh, said the Summer City Market is the perfect opportunity for businesses in the precinct to connect with the community.

Please note, Maude Street between Fryers Street and High Street will be closed to traffic from 6am on Friday 27 February and will reopen at 4.30pm on Saturday 28 February 2026.
