Greater Shepparton City Council welcomes the newest addition to the Moooving Art Herd in time to commemorate ANZAC Day celebrations.
Say hello to Poppy, designed by talented Mooroopna artist Mandy Charquero, Poppy is inspired by the Red Flanders Poppies and pays respects to our service men and women.
Poppy is the fourth cow designed by Mandy, she is also the artist behind floral cows Endurance, Sunny Fields and Blossom.
“It’s uplifting to see our community continue to honour our service men and women, The Moooving Art cows are one of our most iconic treasures in the region and this new addition is a great way to pay our respect to those who have and are currently serving our country,” Mayor Councillor O’Keeffe said.
“Poppy is another wonderful artistic creation and the community and visitors will love her bold colourful and meaningful design.”
Poppy will join more than 90 cows in the Moooving Art Herd and will be available to visit at Monash Park, under the flags, from Friday 23 April.
For more information on the Moooving Art Herd visit the Visit Shepparton website.
