Greater Shepparton City Council invites expressions of interest from businesses who wish to be listed as an approved caterer for Riverlinks Venues.
Following the closure of Riverlinks Catering Department and Encore Café at the end of last year, catering at Riverlinks Venues will be delivered by external providers on a non-exclusive basis. Venue hirers will be able to engage any caterer for their event from this list of approved suppliers.
The commercial kitchen at Riverlinks Eastbank has an extensive range of equipment, utensils, crockery and glassware, suitable for providing meals for up to 800 guests. Catered events include large scale dinners, presentation balls, conferences and a wide variety of meetings. Businesses may choose to cater for small events only as part of this EOI process. Caterers will be required to pay fees for the hire of the kitchen facilities and to register any event on Streatrader.
Riverlinks Venues Manager, Ken Cameron, said providing a variety of high quality catering options to venue hirers is essential.
“It’s important that our catering offerings reflect our diverse community. We encourage all who are interested to apply, including those businesses who wish to cater only smaller functions,” he said.
Interested catering business should apply online at bit.ly/RiverlinksEOI.
The initial round of applications closes at 5pm on Friday 10 March 2023, however catering businesses may apply to join this list at a future date by contacting Riverlinks Venues or applying via the link provided.
Any enquiries can be directed to Riverlinks on (03) 5832 9865 or via email at admin@riverlinksvenues.com.au
